As in all big cities London is home to a considerable number of museums. Whatever yours interests are: painting, sculpture, science, history, biology, geology or modern art, there is inevitably a museum for you.

And it is FREE!

Moreover, many museums are located in zone 1, thus there are easy to find and the fares are reasonable. Finally, the majority of museums are totally free, of course it is strongly recommended to make a donation so they acertain the continuation of this community service.

I have visited many museums in London and I have never been disappointed. Full of fine works of art museums illustrate the power of London and England.
