Activities at U.C.L.
Presentation
In London, you will attend to an eight day course distribute into eight week. These courses take place at UCL.
University College London was created in 1826; the goal of this university was to provide an alternative to the religious university. It is located in the Bloomsbury area (map) of London. It is now a world famous university and it is ranked 26 by the "Academic Ranking of World Universities 2005" (ranking).

At this university you will have some courses of English, IT and Management. Here is an example of the typical day:

- Lecture
The four first lectures will concern the management and the last four IT. Personally, I found the Management lecture interesting. The teacher is impassioned and he knows his subject very well. It's different for the IT lecture, most of the time it is boring. Apparently, teachers did not know that we were studying IT, their lectures were too basic. Often the subject was interesting, but is not sufficient but you need real teacher not another student.
- IT
At the beginning of the afternoon, we are learning HTML and PHP. Alas even if this two languages are very easy to learn, we will certainly not learn it with the UCL class.
- English
During the English course you will practice a lot your oral and you will play to a lot of game. It is a good way to progress if you live with other french. Do not hesitate to speak.
Evaluation
When you are at school, you have some grade. At UCL it is like that too. In English you will do a presentation, you will handle a report and you will have a test on PHP/HTML.
